Susan Goodell joins Board   (Posted 2/1/2010)
One of LWAF's new Board members for 2010, Susan Goodell, states that she is "thrilled to be a Lake Wilderness Arboretum Foundation board member" and believes that "the Arboretum is a region-wide treasure." Susan will serve as an Arboretum Board member-at-large as well as the co-chair of the Property Management and Development committee.

Susan developed the gardening bug in 1995 after she and her husband bought their first house with a small yard. That passion led her to pursue a degree in Landscape Design at Edmonds Community College. Since that time the Goodell's have added two children and two dogs to their family, moved to another house with a small yard and finally to Maple Valley in 2006. Susan is now happily designing and developing her "overgrown one acre yard!"

As an LWAF Board member, Susan plans on applying her landscape design training and work experience in marketing, communications, and customer service to the thoughtful development and maintenance of the Arboretum.
